The Muslim Leadership Foundation UK is dedicated to cultivating a dynamic community of empowered Muslim leaders across the UK.

Our Vision

To create a thriving community of empowered Muslim leaders in the UK who embody Islamic values and principles in their leadership, driving positive change across sectors and contributing to the betterment of society as a whole.

Our Mission

Empower and develop young Muslim professionals and students in the UK to become effective leaders with a purpose, grounded in Islamic principles, who contribute positively to wider society.

Our 2025 Strategic Aims

  1. Provide a comprehensive program of events fostering social, soft, and hard skill development.
  2. Deliver a long-term development pathway for individuals to become purpose-driven leaders.
  3. Establish a network connecting young Muslim professionals and students.
  4. Offer a journey encompassing networking events, knowledge enrichment through a book & film clubs, and skill enhancement via training events. Culminate in individuals demonstrating values-based leadership and contributing back to society.

We recognise that our resources and abilities are only a small part of what is needed to achieve our mission, with so many other organisations in our community that want to see the same, our impact is greater when we work with them. 

We put our purpose above our egos. We strive to be self-aware, listen and learn with humility, and be mindful that we do not have all the answers. 

We believe transparency is key in order to build trust and achieve a positive working environment. This will be achieved in all aspects of decision making whether this be consensus building or challenging of assumptions to ensure sustained and long term change is achieved.

We highlight the causes of inequity our future leaders care about and support them to gain the skills and social capital to challenge these inequities.

We prioritise people over process, shape our ideas with those who are impacted by our initiatives and make ourselves accessible to all.
